Political profiles

Voted includes only official or public professional information: names, party associations, public offices, electorates, publicly stated policies, official election votes and public parliamentary records.

Personal background, family relationships, assets, business relationships, controversies, investigations and criminal allegations are outside the platform's scope.

Using this website

No advertising, analytics, political profiling or third-party tracking is embedded. Fonts are served locally. Filter choices are kept in the page URL. The motion preference is stored on your device under voted-motion in localStorage, with sessionStorage as a fallback when persistent storage is unavailable. It is not sent to Voted. Persistent preferences remain until you change them or clear site storage; session storage lasts for the browser session. Forms keep their content in the current page's memory. The Contact page can prepare an email addressed to voted.co.nz@gmail.com; clicking its email link opens your email application. Your email provider handles the message when you choose to send it. Voted does not send form entries automatically or add feedback to the public dataset.

Hosting and delivery

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection and request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. Its network operates internationally. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its processing practices. Voted has no visitor accounts or server-based submission service. Privacy and correction enquiries can be sent to voted.co.nz@gmail.com.

Access and corrections

You can request access to or correction of information about you through Contact. If a requested correction is not made, New Zealand privacy law provides for a statement of correction to be attached where applicable. Please send only the information necessary to identify the record and supporting source; do not include identity documents in an initial email.

Public sources

Public availability does not remove accuracy, fairness or correction obligations. The launch review includes the Privacy Act rules for indirect collection, including IPP3A in force from 1 May 2026 and its public-information exception. The applicable basis must be assessed for each collection; Voted does not rely on a blanket exemption.

Email contact

When you choose to send an email, the recipient receives your email address and the message you send. Send only the information needed to locate the record and explain your request. Feedback and licensing enquiries are not part of the public political database. This website does not operate an automatic submission service.
